Walk for World Peace began with a simple idea: what if people from all walks of life could come together, literally step by step, to build bridges of understanding and promote peace?

Founded in 2018, our organization has grown from a small local initiative to a global movement spanning over 80 countries. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization operating under Sharing Knowledge of the Buddhist Practice, dedicated to promoting peace through Buddhist principles and community engagement. We believe that peace is not just the absence of conflict, but the active cultivation of understanding, empathy, and connection between people.

Through organized walking events, we create spaces where people can come together, share stories, and build relationships that transcend cultural, political, and social boundaries. Our walks are not protests or demonstrations—they are celebrations of our shared humanity and commitments to a more peaceful world.
